Marie-Hélène Brody, M.A., M.H.Sc., S-LP (c)
Member of the OOAQ

Bilingual from birth and coming from a francophone academic background including my CEGEP studies, I completed my university studies in English. B. A. in Psychology and M. A. in Child Study, Education from Concordia University, I then worked as a research assistant on various projects dealing with topics such as day care quality across Canada and the effects of media on child development. I also published my M.A. thesis on sibling teaching, did various translations and taught English and French as a second language.

Having finally found my passion, I got my M.H.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto in 2006. I also passed my certification exam from the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, which ensures that I complete several hours of continuing education every year.

Back in Montreal, I worked for a year at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where I received an excellent bilingual mentorship. In 2008, I then decided to work in the private sector in order to help clients in the long term, develop a trusting relationship with families and also be able to adapt my services to their needs.

My favorite sayings : « Early intervention changes lives! » and « It’s not because they are small that their problems aren’t important! ».

I look forward to working with you!
